As the editor of The Oregonian / OregonLive and vice president of content for Oregonian Media Group, Therese Bottomly is responsible for all news and opinion published for The Oregonian audiences and for the journalistic standards across all platforms. In this role Therese directs the news gathering and reporting efforts for the region’s largest news staff.

She has served in senior leadership roles at The Oregonian and OregonLive since 1998 and was instrumental in transforming the newsroom into a digital-first news organization.

She has served as a judge for many national journalism awards, including as a Pulitzer Prize juror twice. She is a former president of the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association.
