Leah Klass is a storyteller, poet, entrepreneur and more.  Perfect for this Valentine’s season, Leah will share the amazing story of how she ‘accidentally’ found a piece art in a rather unexpected place.  Something captured her curiosity so she went on a search to discover the artist and more of her work.   The story of Leah’s journey to learn about the piece of art is fascinating to say the least.
The art will be on display at our Portland Rotary meeting.  Join us to hear the story of a trip beyond our borders with a traveling piece of art.
As a Rotary Peace Fellow, Leah Klass studied in Argentina, worked with microcredit programs in Brazil and completed her masters degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.  She has since worked with businesses and governments to connect them with opportunities throughout the Americas. She maintains professional ties and friendships around the world.

Leah Klass received the Rotary World Peace Fellowship in 2004 after sponsorship by District 7610. Leah is a writer and communications consultant working to advance cultural awareness and compassion. She lives in Portland with her two young daughters and her husband who is an Army Veteran.  She is a SAGE Legacy Fellow working on a community program to promote local-level peace building.
