83rd Annual Salvation Army Bell Ringing

The Hilton Hotel is again partnering with the Rotary Club of Portland to help raise money for the Salvation Army on December 14, 2018!

This will be the 83rd year we have done this incredible event! Bell ringers should pick up bells, vests and pots at the Hilton Hotel (921 SW 6thAvenue) between 11:00 and 11:30 AM in the Skyline Room (top floor) on that Friday.

You will go to your spot from 11:30 AM- 1 PM and then will return to the Skyline Ballroom at the Hilton to count your money and have a hearty warm lunch of homemade stew, cornbread, honey and pumpkin pie.

Last year we raised over $21,000. We hope to surpass that amount this year! Our record for total bell ringers is 162 and 7 dogs! We will have a pot in the back of our meeting rooms on Tuesdays until then if you cannot come to help us ring the bells and would like to contribute.

Be sure to sign up for your special spot on the lists in the back of the room at the Sentinel Hotel at the next Rotary meeting or online. We have 75 of the best locations in Portland. Team up with a friend. Better yet, bring a dog, child, or spouse – this is a family affair!  Be sure to sign up how many will be ringing at your location so we can have a good count for lunch.
