Why Rotarians Should Pay Attention to Domestic Violence

Peace Starts at Home

More than 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men in the U.S. are physically, emotionally, or sexually abused in their lifetime. Domestic violence affects people of all ages, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and sexual orientation. You have already come into contact with numerous survivors of abuse. They are all around you.

There are things we can do as Rotarians to help reduce violence. We are leaders in our communities and we can help.
