Academic scholarships to study abroad, in peace and other areas
Rotary World Peace Fellows are leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution to conflict throughout their lives, in their careers, and through service activities. Fellows can earn a master's degree in international relations, public administration, sustainable development, peace studies, and conflict resolution, or a related field, or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict resolution.

Ambassadorial Scholarships are one-year academic scholarships to study abroad at a university. There is no age, gender, economic need or academic requirements other than that the applicant must have completed two years of college. Scholars are encouraged to focus in one of these areas: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution; disease prevention and treatment; water and sanitation; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy; economic and community development. While the scholars study abroad, they will be active Ambassadors of Goodwill with a high level of interaction and involvement with their hosting Rotary club.
Our District has chosen not to award any of these scholarships this year. To discover what other districts may do, visit the Rotary International Website here.
